It's a feeling that many entrepreneurs know all too well, especially during these turbulent times. But as I've learned, questioning the reality of this resistance is the first step to overcoming it.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-test-id=\"publishing-text-block\">\n<p><span class=\"\">So, I got up, meditated, worked out, and kicked off my day \u2013 even if I still felt a bit off-kilter. The truth is, entrepreneurship is hard. It can be incredibly lonely and often requires us to step out of our comfort zones. But it's in these moments of discomfort that we find our greatest growth.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-test-id=\"publishing-text-block\">\n<p><span class=\"\">Despite my initial reluctance, I made progress today. I worked from a friend's office, advanced some significant meetings, brainstormed with colleagues and partners about our messaging, product, and pricing, and even moved forward with a pilot project. By all accounts, it was another entrepreneurial step forward.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-test-id=\"publishing-text-block\">\n<p><span class=\"\">So, how can we discern whether we're truly unmotivated or just having a tough start? Here are three strategies that work for me:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-test-id=\"publishing-text-block\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span class=\"\">Question the thought. Ask yourself: Am I physically okay? Is there a reason I'm feeling this way?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"\">Look for the positives in your day. What are you looking forward to? Seek out people, opportunities, or experiences that will boost your motivation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"\">Remember your &quot;why.&quot; Why did you embark on this entrepreneurial journey? What do you hope to achieve today that will bring you closer to your goals?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-test-id=\"publishing-text-block\">\n<p><span class=\"\">These are challenging times. Many entrepreneurs are juggling military service, navigating the impacts of war, or facing unprecedented hurdles. That's why it's crucial to equip ourselves with tools like mindfulness and to uplift one another.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-test-id=\"publishing-text-block\">\n<p><span class=\"\">Remember, it's okay to feel bad. Entrepreneurship is about confronting each day anew. And yes, it's also about letting go.
