On October 7th, 2023, everything changed.
As a father, a high-tech entrepreneur, and an IDF reservist – I found myself navigating one of the darkest moments in our country’s history. We lost friends. We lost colleagues. We lost a sense of certainty.
But from that pain, something deeper emerged: a sense of purpose.
During my time in reserve duty, I lived in an abandoned, rat-infested house. My days were consumed with decisions that carried weight—life and death. And yet, the moment that shifted everything for me was a simple walk.
One evening, I walked to the beach. I watched the sunset. I breathed.
I realized that within each of us are untapped tools—movement, mindset, community—that help us process, cope, and rebuild.
That’s where WalkImpact was born.
It started as a personal need. It became a collective mission.
Our vision is simple but urgent: To make daily, personalized mental health support accessible to every Israeli who serves this country.
Introducing LaVie AI – a digital resilience coach designed to prevent trauma, not just treat it.
Built for WhatsApp and the web, LaVie AI combines movement-based routines with emotional exercises, daily tasks, and community support – powered by a personalized AI that learns each user’s habits and needs.
LaVie AI is currently being piloted for:
- Soldiers
- Emergency responders
- Medical teams
- Grieving families
- Diverse Israeli communities
Because when you strengthen the emotional core of those who protect us, you strengthen national resilience.
Why now? Because 1 in 14 will experience PTSD. Because in Israel alone, over 50,000 new trauma cases are expected by 2030. And because we’re already seeing the emotional toll on those who’ve served in recent operations—and on those preparing for what’s next.
This is no longer optional.
