Day 380 of 1,095 — There’s No Shortcut to Market Learning

שיתוף פוסט זה

This wasn’t an easy day.

Unexpected fires. Too many urgent meetings. The kind of day that reminds you how quickly focus can slip when you’re building a startup in real-time.

But days like this also remind me of something deeper:

If you want to build something real, there’s no substitute for talking to real people.

You want to sharpen your MVP? Talk to advisors. You want to fundraise and understand investor sentiment? Talk to investors and LPs. You want to validate your business model? Talk to founders who’ve been there and done that. You want to build a company with clarity and alignment? Talk to your co-founders and partners. Every day.

The truth is, most early-stage founders try to over-optimize. Build first, talk later.

But learning doesn’t come from whiteboards. It comes from conversations. Not from Google Docs. From friction. Not from strategy decks. From open-ended questions.

Every real insight I’ve had this year came from a call I almost rescheduled.

And every call I took made our product, pitch, or process a little bit better.

So if you’re feeling lost or stuck, don’t build harder—listen smarter.

The market talks. But only if you’re in the room.
