A long road ahead, but today, I realized something crucial: if we don’t stop to celebrate our progress, we risk missing the journey altogether.
This morning started with an intense marathon training session—pushing my limits, staying focused. The day continued with a walk through the city, clearing my mind, balancing work and life while navigating the ongoing uncertainty around us.
Between it all, I finally tackled my overflowing inbox (why am I still subscribed to so many newsletters?), closed some loops for the startup, and, most importantly, completed an accelerator task that made me pause and rethink something fundamental:
In the fast-paced startup world, we’re wired to chase the next goal. Hit a milestone? Great. What’s next? But when do we stop to acknowledge how far we’ve come?
One of our accelerator challenges was to plan a way to celebrate significant milestones with our team. It made me realize that recognizing progress isn’t just a "nice to have"—it's essential for motivation, team spirit, and long-term success.
So, I came up with an idea: a beachfront toast and picnic near our new office. A moment to pause, express gratitude, and celebrate the journey—not just the product launch but the people who made it happen.
I’m energized and focused. There’s still a long road ahead, but I’m committed to giving my best where I have control—and letting go where I don’t.
How do you celebrate progress in your journey? Do you take time to reflect, or are you always chasing the next milestone? Let’s talk in the comments.
