The day began in the early hours of the morning, bright and filled with anticipation. I was gearing up for what was supposed to be an ordinary marathon. However, life in Israel can be anything but predictable. At the peak of our marathon, Hezbollah launched missiles towards Tel Aviv. One of these missiles was intercepted right above my head.

In that fleeting moment of chaos, my understanding of the necessity of my startup was reinforced. The fear that we might lose our lives because of missiles, especially while serving in the reserves and wearing uniforms, hit closer to home than ever before. The post-traumatic stress symptoms and persistent fear of losing one's life are all too real.

Later that day, I attended an event where I spoke about helping veterans and soldiers with PTSD symptoms feel better, healthier, and happier through walking and physical activity facilitated by our app. This technology-driven approach seemed even more relevant and urgent after the morning I had experienced.

The precision of my words at the event echoed the chaos of my morning. I wanted to scream out loud about the morning's ordeal, and yet, I found myself propelled by an even stronger desire to push forward toward our goal—helping everyone experiencing PTSD symptoms.

Now here I am, working from the 28th floor of

on the startup that has become my lifeline. Every step I take is a step towards empowering individuals who suffer from post-traumatic stress.

In moments like these, we are reminded of the fragility of life and the strength of the human spirit. The missile that was intercepted above my head was not just a threat; it was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.
