The day started at dawn with matters related to the ongoing conflict, and after that, I shifted my focus entirely to the startup. I’m proud that after a few chaotic days, I was able to get back into my rhythm. I even had a couple of important meetings that moved us forward by another step.
I’ve come to realize that the next phase is finding a technical co-founder. And like any relationship, it’s bound to be a complex process.
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned from
Yael Alroy
/
Viola Ventures
, one of Israel’s most prominent venture capital funds, is the importance of focusing on the 3 T's:
- Team: A team with grit, complementary skills, and shared values. People who are eager to work together, grow together, and build a truly remarkable company.
- TAM (Total Addressable Market): The market size, and it better be growing, with significant potential revenue. We need to tell a compelling story about how our solution can capture a meaningful slice of this opportunity.
- Technology: Our product needs to be on the cutting edge, bringing something fresh and innovative to the market. It must provide the best user experience out there, just like any world-class app should.
Does anyone have additional thoughts or something they’d like to highlight? I’d love to hear from you.
For now, I’m going to rest a bit, hoping for a better year ahead. I wish for peace, for our brothers and sisters to come home safely, and for my friends and I to shed our uniforms and return to building life—and startups—again.
