The day kicked off early, navigating through the tough realities of the ongoing conflict. From there, I attended a kickoff event for mentors supporting reservist soldiers. It gave me another opportunity to strengthen a muscle I’ve been working on lately – starting conversations, pitching my startup, and directly asking for help in finding the right tech co-founder.
The more I practice cold outreach, the better I get. Today was another chance to refine that skill. By the end of the event, I also activated my network, reaching out to people I thought could help connect me with the ideal tech partner.
Sometimes, all it takes is the courage to reach out and ask. Effective networking isn’t just about meeting the right people – it’s about knowing what to say when the opportunity arises. Each cold conversation is like a workout: at first, it feels awkward, but with practice, it becomes second nature.
What cold outreach can you make this week that could bring you closer to your goal?
