Day 307 out of 1,095: Selling Ourselves

שיתוף פוסט זה

Today was intense. Between dealing with the ongoing war and preparing for a week filled with back-to-back meetings, one thing became crystal clear: this week will demand one skill above all—selling myself.

And let’s be honest: Psychologically, it’s complex. Personally, it’s uncomfortable. Professionally, it’s challenging.

Yet amidst all that complexity lies a simple truth: we need to remind ourselves why we’re doing this.

I’m Eliav, CEO and co-founder of a startup focused on building resilience for security, emergency, and first-response forces.

Right now, there is no mission more important than this.

That’s why I’ve embraced this challenge. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about showing up, refining the message, and improving from one conversation to the next until it clicks.

Because when your mission is as critical as ours—building resilience for those who put themselves on the line every single day—you don’t stop. You don’t quit.

I may not always get it right on the first try. Sometimes I stumble; sometimes I don’t hit the right note. But I owe it to them—and to myself—to keep learning, keep selling, and keep moving forward.

This is not just about professional growth; it’s about purpose. And when the stakes are this high, I’m willing to face any discomfort to make a difference.

What about you? How do you approach the challenge of selling yourself or your vision in high-pressure moments? What’s worked for you, and how do you overcome the mental blocks?
