Let me be brutally honest.
Not because the mission isn’t important. Not because my partners aren’t brilliant. Not because we lack advisors, data, or passion.
But because today… hurt.
If you're an entrepreneur, you know what I mean. It’s not just the “no” you hear from someone you hoped would see your vision. It’s the punch in the gut when someone asks: "Why would this even work?" It’s the silence in the room when you're pouring your heart out and no one gets it.
That’s the part no one prepares you for.
And yet – this is still the journey. The grind, the doubt, the resilience. 417 days into a 1,095-day mission – and today, I almost ran.
- We’re building something that can save lives.
- We’re giving first responders the tools they need to regain control.
- We’re not just chasing product-market fit. We’re chasing impact.
So yes, the punches hurt. Yes, we’ll take the feedback and come back stronger. And yes – we’ll find the investors, allies, and believers to make this work.
Even on the hardest days, I’m grateful for the mission. For the team. For the privilege of trying.
To every founder reading this who had a “run away” day — you’re not alone. What keeps you going when it gets this hard?
