Today began with my usual deep morning routine: meditation, a workout, brain rewiring exercises, a therapeutic session, followed by some follow-ups and work on our live podcast. We have incredible episodes lined up, rich in value, and we're continually refining our technologies and automating the entire process. Amazing.
Alongside these tasks, given the recent surge in workload amidst this complex period, I’ve come to a significant realization that I want to share with you all.
Focusing, slowing down, not scheduling meetings, and staying in the zone are sometimes the best ways to move forward. If we aim to prioritize and progress according to our resources, we need to do a few things (which I'm still working on):
- Say No to Opportunities for Now: Decline opportunities that arise if they don't align with the top priorities. Anything outside our immediate focus shouldn't make it onto the agenda.
- Eliminate Distractions: Reduce as many distractions as possible to ensure that every high-priority process and project gets the attention it deserves.
- Slow Down: Slow down the pace of doing things and be fully present in the “here and now.” This is crucial for deep processes that are important for advancing ourselves and our startups.
Shifting our focus and slowing down can be the most effective way to advance. Do you have any additional insights? Share them with us so we can learn together.
