Day 255 of 1,095: Between Values, Mistakes, and Lessons

שיתוף פוסט זה

Today was nothing short of intense. Beyond the external chaos of war, there’s an internal battle—balancing values, making sound decisions under pressure, and finding the equilibrium between speed and thoughtfulness.

I managed to push forward several key meetings for the startup—discussions about team-building and partnerships that hold real promise. But amidst the progress, there was a mistake.

It wasn’t earth-shattering, but it felt heavy. Like a ripple that turned into a wave. I made an error in judgment, and while I’ve learned to expect these moments, they still sting.

But here’s what I’m working on:

Learning from the mistakes without letting them define me.

Acknowledging the intensity of this period and extending grace to myself.

And, above all, reminding myself that while we can chart the course, most things remain out of our control.

Today was hard—personally and professionally.

But tomorrow? Tomorrow is a new day. Another opportunity to make progress, hold meaningful meetings, and take another step forward with the startup.

More importantly, it’s a chance to embrace gratitude. Gratitude for being in a position to help—friends, security forces, and those facing unimaginable challenges. Together, we’re building resilience and finding growth amid the trauma.

To everyone reading this:

Mistakes are inevitable. They’re part of the process. The question is, how do we show up afterward?

Let’s recalibrate, move forward, and show compassion—starting with ourselves.

When was the last time you made a mistake, and what did it teach you?

How do you balance self-compassion with the drive to push forward relentlessly?

Let’s share and grow together.
